  • We assess your personal strengths in all aspects of “Listening”, “Speaking”, “Reading”, and “Writing” to provide the most effective lessons.
  • This course is especially recommended for those who are learning Japanese for the first time, as students are able to learn the basics thoroughly (pronunciation, characters etc.)
  • We welcome anyone who wishes to prepare for Japanese proficiency exams.

About reservation
Please keep in mind that the reservations are normally conducted based on your convenience, but there is also a possibility that your desired class might already be full.

A reservation can only be changed up until 5pm 2 days prior to the lesson in question.

Cancellation fee are charged as follows:

1 day before the lesson – 50% of the lesson fee

On the lesson day – 100% of the lesson fee

Textbook fees are in addition to lesson costs.
Monthly fees differ according to the number of the lessons taken in a month.
For example, in the case of a 60 minute class…
If 3 lessons have been taken in a month, the fee will be 2,200 yen x 3 lessons = 6,600 yen
If 5 lessons have been taken in a month, the fee will be 2,200 yen x 5 lessons = 11,000 yen

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions of KIWI Japanese Language School.

How are the classes conducted?
Basically the main focus is on conversation, although we also teach Japanese (hiragana, katakana and Chinese characters) to achieve a faster progress. In addition, we give homework to those who require it.

We think it is important to provide equal opportunities to speak during group discussions.

Will the teachers be different every time?
No. The same teacher will be assigned to the same class most of the time. Teachers can smoothly communicate with each student and assess their progress so that they can focus on supporting their weak points.
Do you have parking facilities?
We do not have exclusive parking areas for the school. Please use the nearby parking areas. .
Are there any costs on top of the enrollment and lesson fees?
You have to pay for the text books, which cost around 3,000 – 5,000 yen. There are no other charges apart from this.　
When do the group lessons start?
A new class can start whenever there are applications from two people of the same level.
Are there trial lessons? What are they like?
A one-on-one trial lesson will be conducted after assessing your educational background, purpose for learning, and preference regarding the course. It will take around 1 hour, including the lesson and explanation of the courses. We do not force the students to actually enter our school, so please feel free to come to the trial lesson. If you are happy after the trial lesson, we can design the class according to your level and situation.
